Ravens vs Colts Week 14
In week 14 of the 2011 NFL season the Baltimore Ravens were the lucky team to draw the 0 and 13 Payton Manning-less Colts.
Payton Manning hasn’t taken a single snap, and should be considered for MVP with the way his team has taken a nose dive without him. The Ravens are moving in a different direction the 24 – 10 victory over the winless Colts improves their record to 10 and 3 allowing them to exercise the tie breaker over the Steelers in the AFC North.
All while keeping pace with the Patriots and Texans for the coveted 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.
QB Joe Flacco got back on track after a dismal performance in week 13. RB Ray Rice went over 100 yards rushing for the 2nd game in a row, actually going for over 200 1 week ago.
The defense continues to play well even without their leader in the Middle Ray Lewis for the 3rd week. LB Terrell Suggs put forth another dynamite performance recording 3 sacks in the game.
Final Score : Ravens 24 – Colts 10
Next week the Ravens will have a much tougher outing than their opponent’s record suggests.
The Ravens will travel west in week 15 to battle the Chargers. San Diego is an interesting team. They’re coming off of a win after losing 6 straight. This is a very streaky football team, and when they’re on a winning streak, they’re as good as anyone in the league.

The Ravens better be prepared to play ball in week 15, if they sleep on Phillip Rivers and the Chargers, the Steelers can still win their division and they can take the AFC North after even just one Ravens slip up.
